I just passed my final exam for my Nutritional Therapy Consultant course!!! For the first time in a while I am crying tears of joy.
I thought about taking this course for years before actually making the firm decision and starting it in February. It always seems like there was too many other things going on to fit it into life. And I did not have the confidence I needed to just do it. Both of which were not the correct thoughts to have. There is always time if you really want to accomplish something and we need to always have faith in ourselves!! And the backing of some great people to hold us up when needed….luckily, I had that.
As I reflect on the last nine months, I recall the times of stress, the trip to Vegas(with a broken collar bone) to learn with my classmates, the moments when a big idea or body process clicked, the time spent studying, being tired because I was up late or my brain just hurt! LOL! But the times that stand out the most are when my practice clients grasped an idea and made a shift towards better health. I would not change any of those moments!!
All of those moments lead up to this one! To right now when I feel so overwhelmed with pride, happiness, a sense of accomplishment, and excitement. Pride in myself for finally decided to do this and sticking with it, giving it more than I thought I had…leading the sense of accomplishment. Happiness because I did pass my exam!! And excited for what the future holds!!
I have lots of ideas stewing for both my practice and this blog. I look forward to continuing to learn. I want to reach and help as many people as I can. I will be honest with you, there is some selfishness in my want to help. I enjoy seeing people feel better and learn something new…it brings me just as much happiness as it does them. And if we are all a little more happy, our world just might be a better place.
I wish you all a happy Monday and great rest of you week! And stay tuned, I will be sharing some great nutrition, healthy lifestyle, and cooking tips real soon!! I first have to finish 2 book reports to officially become a Nutritional Therapy Consultant.
