This creamy Italian dressing recipe is free from sugar and unhealthy seed oils, making it a healthier option than dressings you find in the store.

I love making a double batch of homemade creamy Italian dressing so that I have plenty on hand for a salad at dinner, a few lunches, and for my kiddos to dip or veggies or leftover protein. Truthfully, my 1-year-old likes to eat it with his fingers!

What is creamy Italian dressing made of?

Mayonnaise:  choose an avocado oil mayo to avoid unhealthy seed oils.  I really like this one from Chosen Food.  I typically purchase it from Azure Standard.

Balsamic Vinegar:  gives the dressing a bit of sweetness, allowing you to skip adding any additional sweeteners like some recipes have.

Dried Italian Herbs:  You can purchase this herb blend at any grocery store or make your one using my recipe.

Garlic powder

Salt

Pepper
