Hey, hey!
Last Friday I didn’t not get out my regularly scheduled Food Fact Friday post! I was not completely happy about missing last week but somethings life has other plans and we just have to roll with it.
While I believe that food plays a big important roll in health, I also believe that it is not the only thing we have to look at and do in order to achieve health goals. Health and well being needs to be supported through multiple channels.
One of those other channels is sleep. An adequate amount of good quality sleep is needed to set up the entire day of feeling alert, allowing the body and brain to operate on an optimal level!
But, I have not been living by that rule for the last few months and it was time to step back and practice what I preach! So while I did do some research into a blog post, I made it a priority to get to bed at a decent time….not the 10:30 or later that I had been doing. And honestly, I rested a BUNCH over the weekend. I took more naps then a 2 year old!!
Along with needing some extra rest and TLC, the post I am working on has turned into a more in-depth post then I thought it would be. I didn’t want to put a post out that didn’t cover everything I wanted you to know about this very important topic. So a bit of extra research time was needed as well. I am looking forward to sharing it with you this week!
Tune in on Friday to learn more about poor-quality fats. I hope you have a great rest of the week!
