Goodbye and hello

Hard to believe that 2016 is gone and tomorrow is the first day of 2017!!

I always find myself reflecting as each year comes to an end and this year is no different.  2016 has definitively had highs and lows, but I would not change it because all those times have had their purpose, have pushed and fueled me in many ways.  I will say that I would have added a few things or handled situations in a different matter…but i think we all have those thoughts and those too push and fuel us as we journey though life.  And hopefully we grow from the good and bad that we are face with.

I had hoped to put more into my blog in 2016 then I did.  I am honestly still trying to work out what exactly I want it to be.  Because I am unsure, I just didn’t do anything which is not going to help me figure out what it will transform into.  And I have been to ambitious about what I could accomplish in a short time frame and with the limited amount of time that I have (or think I have??).  I want it to be perfect, sparkling and wonderful!  I want it just to happen with a snap of my little fingers!  I know, I know, that is not how it works….but a girl can dream right?!

So has 2017 draws near and everyone is talking of resolutions, manifestos, or their word for the new year, I too am thinking of what I want to accomplish and improve upon in the months to come.  I am not usually one to make resolutions but this year I have a few things I want to focus on…getting back into a solid exercise routine, expanding my knowledge base, being more grateful, and working on this blog.  Now I have not quite figured out my plan to accomplish this but I  still have a few hours!  Lol!  I am a procrastinator!  But knowing what I want to do is a great place to start and I will work on my action plan.  I may not start everything tomorrow but I am OK with that, I have a good starting point.  I will share my steps here as I get them all figured out.

Have you set resolutions or a manifesto for 2017?  Did you pick a word for your upcoming year?  I would love to hear if you have!  Feel free to share in the comment section.

Happy New Year!
